Kona the Dog needs a home

Kona is a long-haired Alaskan Malamute mix, approximately 5,years old, and 115 pounds of pure lovebug who wants to be petted and sit by your side all day.
He loves to go on long walks and needs to have regular exercise. He will be your most loyal companion, and despite his size, is extremely gentle with all humans. Like many male dogs of any breed, Kona will not do well with other male dogs, so he must be the only dog in the home or the only male. He seems to appreciate companionship of a female dog as long as she is not dominant. He has been trained through obedience, is UTD on all shots, is neutered and is microchipped.
Home checks are required. A large yard would be great but he also needs to be an indoor dog. He has been outdoors for the last several months and may need to be gently reminded about house training.
